Multimedia Team Development

Over the past few years, we rebuilt the AgriLife marketing and communication’s multimedia team so we could make the shift from a collection of grainy cell phone images to a magazine-worthy collection of photos and b-roll footage.

Within a year we traded in old equipment for new, redesigned our workflows, created a storage repository for photo/videos and captured thousands of fresh visuals..

Most importantly, we began connecting the dots with our content across both print and digital platforms. Long ago are the days of creating a video for video sake. Each video is created with marketing strategy in mind and to serve as a piece of the content puzzle.

Texas BBQ

What is Texas BBQ? We grabbed a former Texas A&M University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences student to tell us a bit about it, share his experiences about Texas A&M University, and discuss how Texas A&M AgriLife’s Camp Brisket is helping him continue his education. All in prime time for National BBQ Day.

Food Desserts

At the Urban County Farm in Garland Texas, Jeffrey Raska, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horticulture coordinator, partnered with Dallas County Commissioner District 1 Theresa Daniel, Ph.D., to combat local food insecurity by transforming a 12-acre urban location into a fruitful farm and garden tended to by Texas Master Gardener volunteers. The location has produced and donated 2.5 tons of food to shelters and community centers with kitchens in Dallas County.
